With the Blue Bridge being closed since Sunday there does not seem to be a lot happening and local residents and shop owners are starting to voice their concerns.
Shutting a major route into Rhyl was always going to be difficult with it being the only way from Rhyl to Kinmel Bay on that side of the town.
Residents though have noticed that by Wednesday people were still travelling down to the bridge as there were no signs as far back as the turning for Asda to tell people that the road was in fact closed.
The lack of passing trade plus people being able to get to the shops in the Marine lake area from Kinmel Bay shops like Gwynedd Distributors are finding it difficult. With so much disruption for the next three weeks expected have Denbighshire County Council put anything into place to help these small businesses during this time?
