Rhyl FC’s battle for Europa League continues

Rhyl FC are this weekend’s visitors to Bastion gardens as they face a relegation threatened Prestatyn Town.

Pestatyn are facing a battle for the drop just two after winning the Welsh Cup for the first time in their history, while Rhyl are battling Carmarthen Town for the 7th spot in the league to guarantee a Europa League qualification spot.

The Lilywhites are travelling on the back of a Welsh Cup quarter final win were they will face Newtown in the Semi Final on the first weekend of April.

Prestatyn however come back home after losing 4-3 to GAP Connah’s Quay the last time out.

The last time both sides faced each other at the end of January Rhyl ran out 2-1 winners at the Corbett Sports Stadium so Prestatyn have as much to play for as the away side.
