Ben And Holly Live thrill their young audience…and the parents!

“Somewhere, hidden amongst the thorny brambles is a little kingdom where everyone is very very small…” They also have a lot of fun and know how to entertain their young audience with their singing and dancing that had even the grownups waving their arms.

From the makers of Peppa Pig comes this BAFTA award-winning television animation live on stage! The stage settings are very well produced and you can tell the whole show is a team effort with those behind stage pulling the show together along with the actors playing Ben, Holly and Nanny Plum.

The show is cut into two acts with an interval long enough to grab an ice cream or to check out the reasonably priced merchandise.

Holly is a young Fairy Princess, who is still learning how to fly and her magic doesn’t always go quite according to plan. Her best friend, Ben the Elf, doesn’t have wings and he doesn’t do magic, but he runs very fast and flies on the back of Gaston the Ladybird. They live in the Little Kingdom, a tiny land where flowers and grass rise high above them and every day is an adventure.

Ben and Holly have fun and games helping Gaston the Ladybird clean up his messy cave, they go on a trip into The Big World with tooth-fairy Nanny Plum and even plan a surprise birthday party for King Thistle.

So if you have young children or grand children and you are free tomorrow why not join Ben and Holly, and their friends on this exciting, enchanting and magical musical adventure packed full of games, songs and laughter. This beautiful story of elves, princesses and childhood innocence will delight all the family!

On a personal note my two daughters, aged 6 and 2, couldn’t keep their eyes off the stage and loved every minute and are now planning their next visit.

Shows for tomorrow (Sunday) are at 10am, 1pm and 4pm.

Tickets are priced between £14.50 and £12.50 and are available from the Box Office at Venue Cymru, online at www.venuecymru.co.uk or by telephone at 01492 872000.
