Rhyl Pavilion break Box Office records

The Pavilion Theatre ,Rhyl, was pleased to announce that CINDERELLA, which closed on Saturday January 9 after forty performances had broken the Box Office Record for a Pantomime previously held by SNOW WHITE starring Su Pollard in 2011.

The reviewers were unanimous in their praise for the production which starred Rhydian as Prince Charming, Sonia, as the Fairy Godmother and Emma Nowell in the title role.

General Manager, Gareth Owen, said: ‘There was a fantastic atmosphere here over Christmas. Our Pantomimes have always had high production values and the public appreciate that. We have real ponies pulling Cinderella’s coach at the end of Act One, which many people find quite emotional, and you have to connect with your audience at an emotional level.

So it was a terrific achievement by the director and cast and crew, musicians, choreographer, and theatre staff and volunteers to make this production very special indeed.’

Well done Rhyl Pavilion
